You can create terraced flowerbeds by using landscaping timber. Patios are brilliant because if you raise a flowerbed the soil will be well placed to grow plants faster and they will not need as much water. Building your timber flowerbed :
After you purchase the landscaping timbers, take away the grass and level the ground. A brilliant idea is to dig a surrounding ditch, so it's simpler for you to install the 1st layer of wood. You will need landscaping nails to mend the timber so it will not move. As you go up, do not forget to put more nails each 2 or 3 layers. If you intend to build more than one you can do it in only 1 day.
